 Eddie Bartlett - Thu Mar 18, 2004 1:10 pm

My Mother is on 0.5mg twice a day of Haldol for severe nausea and vomiting stemed from brain tumors, I was wondering how long it takes to work, if it will work at all.

User avatar Dear Eddie,

Actually, haldol is not fda approved for use in cases of vomiting but it works in some cases, the dose of course differs from person to person.

Please, refer to my reply on your other post.

Thank you very much for using our website http://doctorslounge.com and i hope that this information helped.

Yasser Mokhtar, M.D.
