Question: Clomide and TB test

 kbusby - Mon Aug 02, 2010 8:30 pm

I have to have a mandatory TB test at work on Wednesday. I will be starting my 1st round of Clomid that day. Will they interfere with each other?

User avatar Hello,Clomiphene is a non steroidal ovulatory stimulant which is orally administered. This drug interacts with tissues containing estrogen receptors which leads to pre ovulatory gonadotrophin surge ultimately leading to ovulation.
As far as I know the drug would not interfere with TB testing in any way.It would however be prudent to give your drug history to the medical personnel.
Best wishes.
