I am currently taking a triphasil birth control pill. I began taking Relacore (stress mitigating compound) for weight loss, but I have been wondering if this would in any way interfere with the effectiveness of my birth control pill? The ingredients listed are vitamins and these herbs: Panax Ginseng, Passion Flower, Magnolia, Scutellaria, Niacinamide, DHEA, Perilla, Poria, Jujube, and Phosphatidylsetine.

As with all "natural" products, there is no answer. Since the FDA hasn't approved them, there are no unbiased studies that address that concern. Odds are, it won't interfere, but no one knows for sure.
