Asenlix (or Clobenzorex) is an appetitie suppressant drug used for weight loss. In this sense it is related to another drug called phentermine. It works primarily on the central nervous system (CNS) to produce a decrease in apetite. Unfortunately, asenlix was associated with unsafe CNS effects that led to its being banned in some countries such as the US.
