Hi
I have a lump in my throat and I don't have any problem in swallowing but while I tried to lay flat, then I feel like throwing-up and feel like something is struck inmy throat. This problem persists for past 2 weeks.. My ayurvedic doctor told me to have ginger-honey juice in empty stomach. But that even does'nt work. I'm afraid, I don't smoke, or have non-vegs. Pls help me.....

Dear jilloo,
What do you mean by "ayurvedic" doctor?
Did your doctor really see a lump in your throat or this is just your sensation?
Thank you very much for using our website http://doctorslounge.

Dear jiloo,
Hello, you need a consultation from an ENT specialist.
sometimes throat infection can present as a lump in the throat. some times even gastro esophageal reflux disease can present as a lump in the throat. Go to an ENT specialist
sincerely
