Symptoms: soreness on right side of soft pallat and throat making swallowing painful; constant drainage; nasal passages are clear; no Cough or Headache; equally annoying morning and night; symtoms began two days ago. Do I need to see a doctor, or am I just aggrevated by alleries? Thanks!

Is it red and is the tonsil swollen? Are you fatigued or perhaps have a low grade Fever? If it's only been a couple of days, you may be catching a cold or tonsillitis. Sometimes a sore throat on one side will indicate that. It could also possibly be allergies. Do you take something for them?
