I have a question
Can people get so stressed they get ill? If they can what happens to their body to make them like that and can they just fix it in a day?
Thanks
Jenny

Jenny,
Stress is a major cause of illness. It is one of the main causes of coronary heart disease and heart attacks which are a leading cause of death. There are many other diseases (called psychosomatic diseases) that are related to stress. Peptic ulcer is another very common one that comes to mind. Many of the body's hormone levels change during stress (e.g. cortisone and adrenaline) and may contribute to a major part in causing these diseases.
