Question: Do I have a personality disorder?

Tarantulo - Sun May 20, 2007 6:23 pm

I seem to be cofusing myself diagnosiing, so I'd like to hear your oppinion.
I'm male, love shy, very anxious and often depressed. I seem to be daydreaming a lot and somehow losing a touch with reality. When I say that I mean things like; always lookin weardly at the people around me and sometimes, even if I know them, I behave like they are not there. Sometimes when I smoke marijuana I feel like 'I used to be sick but now am OK'. When I smoke things are 'right' after marijuana use and I could see all 'wrong' behavior when SOBER.
Also, I seem to be slightly narcisstic, irritated, sometimes verbaly aggresive with a low self-esteem.
Any comments are much appretiated.

I would not even attempt to diagnose you but it sounds like there are enough concerning symptoms that are adversely affecting your life that it would warrant an evaluation by a psychiatric professional. Many conditions are very treatable to help you function at your best. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
