 tommyjerry - Thu Sep 18, 2008 7:16 pm

I think I depressed but yet everytime something bad happens my mind graviates to sexual thoughts. My mom just died and I want to know if thats normal for a depressed person, I am 16.

Hi tommyjerry,

Sometimes, people use sexuality or sex as a way to soothe or comfort themselves in times of stress and anxiety. if you are concerned about your experiences, if depression seems to be stuck and impairing your life, or if your sexual thoughts and behaviors concern you, I would recommend that you discuss it with a psychiatrist. Good luck!
