I have just been prescribed lexapro 5mg. and came down with a bad cold (sore throat, congested and coughing.) I was wondering what otc cold meds are safe for me.

 Hello,
I am not aware of any negative interactions between Lexapro and OTC cold symptom relievers but it is always wise to check with the pharmacist for an particular medication to be sure.
