Question: Can you take fluoxetine and norethesterone together?

 busted_diva - Thu Aug 12, 2010 6:26 am

I am currently taking 40mg of fluoxetine. I'm going on holiday and would like to delay my period (due 3 day before I get home). I have norethisterone left over from a previous holiday but that was when I wasn't on fluoxetine. Can I take fluoxetine and norethisterone together???

Hi busted_diva,

There is no identified contraindication in using fluoxetine at the same time as noresthisterone. I must point out that using "old" pills is not wise, nor is using a medication without your doctor's knowledge. I hope you'll consider giving your doctor a call before proceeding with your medication plan. I also hope you'll have a lovely holiday.

Good luck!
