Does anyone know: Is there a side affect of nortriptyline of causing constipation?

Hi razzle,
Some of the less serious side effects of Nortriptyline are drowsiness or dizziness, dry mouth and eyes, constipation, mild tremor, sweating, mild agitation, weakness, headache, ringing in the ears, nausea, loss of weight or appetite.
Discuss with your physician about the constipation side effect. He/she may suggest supplementing your diet with additional fiber to relieve this symptom.
Sincerely,
Theresa Jones, RN
