I have been diagnosed with lupus since 2004 and I experience problems with Migraine Headaches, Upper Respiratory Infections and Chronic Sinusitis, Urinary Tract Infections and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, including other symptoms of lupus. Would these symptoms be due to lupus?

Hello, Yes, the symptoms you are suffering can be caused by active lupus. Vasculitis can cause colitis or general GI symptoms (sometimes GI symptoms are secondary to medicine like NSAIDs); headaches can occur; urinary tract problems including kidney disease certainly can occur. Respiratory illness can also be a part of lupus. So take care to follow up with your physician for medical management.
