My husbands legs ache a lot. He also has difficulty walking as he PLODS rather than walks. He is 6' and used to take great strides, now he just takes great purpose as he focus's each step and I wait on him.
Can you help give us any ideas? At night he puts them in a massage chair.

This looks like something a neurologist must examine. Gait problems can be caused by a multitude of neurological diseases. The characters of the gait abnormality is what leads to the diagnosis.
