Will a surgeon do major surgery on a type 1 diabetic 59 years old who has good control & under what circumstances thanks

Hi, Type 1 diabetics,if in need for any surgery ('major' or 'minor') , will be treated just as any other non- diabetic, but they will need very careful perioperative monitoring.
