Question: Yellow spots forming days after c-section normal?

 bs_wife - Mon May 25, 2009 10:49 pm Bookmark and Share

i had a schedualed repeat c-section on the 19th of this month.. i did have some bruising immediatly afterwords, but i noticed yesterday that i all of a sudden have a yellow spot spreading up to my belly button which i though maybe was just from the original bruise. and today i noticed off to my side no where near my original bruise is another bright yellow spot.. is this just a normal bruise to get days after surgery?

User avatar Hello,The yellow spots are likely due to povidone iodine applied on the skin for disinfecting.Otherwise I do not see any other problem, and hope you have got it cleared by now.Best wishes.
