I am a 24 yr old Male, post op exactly 5 days from having my tonsils removed. I am still having a lot of difficulties sollowing (really painful) and i am still barley able to talk. Is there anything I can do ? I am drinking as much water that i can but it still really hurts.
Please offer any helpful advise.

Hi lonewolf_1281,
Popsicles, anything cold such as that should help with discomfort and swelling. You may also want to try some anti-inflammatory medications such as liquid Motrin to decrease the inflammation. Be sure to check with your physician prior to using NSAID's. I hope this helps :)
