User avatar Hello,Most people have some amount of postvoid incontenence,as it is called. But then if it is excessive or associated with other symptoms like urgency, frequency etc need investigations to rule out especially benign prostatic hypertrophy.First it will be to find out how much of residual urine is left behind by ultrasound, and urodynamic tests to study the bladder function. For mild types with out other pathology keegals excercise to tone up pelvic floor should be fine.BPH needs medical treatment and in some surgery.Bladder problems like cystitis can be treated by antibiotics.Bestwishes.
