Question: Inhalation of drinking water
|mpk - Wed Jul 25, 2007 1:26 pm||
Choked rather badly while drinking a glass of water, far worse than I ever have before. Spent quite a while coughing. Is this something to see a doctor about, or will it resolve itself?
|Debbie Miller, RN - Sat Jul 28, 2007 4:45 pm||
Most likely this will resolve on its own. In some cases it can cause pneumonia. So, if you have breathing difficulties that persist, you should see your doctor.
