Question: thyroid test leukimia

 gl@d - Sat Jan 15, 2005 1:50 pm

if i had a blood test for my thyroid would they be able to see if i had leukimia or not?

User avatar No these are two different tests. To screen for leukemia you would need a complete blood film which counts your leukocytes and also looks for abnormal (leukemic) forms also known as blast cells.
