User avatar Hello,

A flaccid penis is normally at least 1.6 inches long, or 2.7 inches when stretched.[1]

If the penis does measure less than 4 cm, especially if other findings are present, further evaluation may be indicated.

Micropenis is best recognized and evaluated in the immediate newborn period.

Micropenis can occur as an isolated idiopathic anomaly or in association with other anomalies.

Most cases of micropenis are due to fetal testosterone deficiency as in Klinefelter syndrome, defects in testosterone steroidogenesis and luteinizing hormone receptor defects. Defective androgen receptors as well as growth hormone deficiency can also manifest as micropenis.

Other causes include conditions associated with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism such as Kallmann syndrome, Laurence-Moon-Biedl syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Rud syndrome and Septo-optic dysplasia.

You need to be evaluated. Your evaluation may include hormone level assays as well as genetic testing.

I am 18 years old. I have the same problem as gan_lak2005, my penis is 1 in or less when soft, when erect it is 2-3 in. I have not went through most of puberty, the only thing that i have really went through is my voice has got a little deeper and i have pubic hair above me penis. I do have a little hair in my arm pits, and a facial hair, but it comes in very slowly. So far i have seen no change in my penis. But my balls have droped a little since the 8th grade. Please tell me what i can do to get a bigger penis.
