Question: What happens when you miss the pill?

Hi, Im taking mercilon and last month I miss it for a week im aware im not protected but do I have to start it from the start again eg in a middle of my period? I have started again but after my week off it so i was wondering am I protected now?

User avatar When you miss a week like this, you should use alternate protection in addition to the pill until your next cycle in case you ovulate this month. After your next period you can just resume as usual.
