Question: Blood in Semen

 ibasicallyrock - Sun Dec 09, 2007 9:48 pm

My fiance is 23 and we discovered blood in his semen. This is the first time that this has ever happened.

He has a hernia, that has descended into his testicles...and we were wondering if that could be the cause of him bleeding. a

User avatar Hello Ibasicallyrock,

A hernia would not typically cause blood in the semen. It may be that he had some trauma to his scrotum causing a little bleeding into the semen. If there is the possibility of an infection (STD) this should be evaluated for as well.

If this continues he should see his doctor for an evaluation.

Best wishes.
