Question: Does pain indicate ovulation?

 jodys32 - Tue Feb 26, 2008 6:31 pm

I'm 32 years old and I haven't ovulated on my own since going off the bc pill in Aug 2007 (ovulated with Clomid/Profasi). I frequently feel little crampy pains in the area of my ovaries. Is this normal? Does this mean that things are working and there's a chance that I will ovulate in time?

User avatar Hello,
Some women do have symptoms, even pain, when they ovulate but I don't think you can rely on this as an indicator of ovulation.

Best wishes.
