Question: Stomach Symptoms

 lil_mamarains13 - Fri Feb 03, 2006 5:10 pm

I am a 22 year old female. I have been having strange stomach problems and I am trying to understand what they are. In about 2 weeks I have had diarreah off and on, dizziness, nauseau, a strange stomach feeling. I first got sick I was vomitting and having diarreah, but that was about 2 weeks ago. The strange feeling in my stomach is like an anxiety attack, but there is no rapid heart beat associated with it like normal. Do you have any suggestions on what the problem could be?

User avatar Hello,

Its possible that you have some dyspepsia after your attack of gastroenteritis. Dyspepsia is upper abdominal pain or discomfort that is episodic or persistent and often associated with belching, bloating, heartburn, nausea or vomiting.

If it hasn't already gone away you should inform your doctor.

Best regards.
