Question: Constant dry heaving, occasional vomiting

 js2078454 - Sun Dec 23, 2007 10:20 pm

I'm a 21 year old female, and for the past year (more often in the past few months than before) I have had a problem. My symptoms are as follows:
- dry heaving throughout the day, sometimes followed by burping (which is VERY strange because I have not burped since I was an infant, I never knew how, and I still don't know how to burp, it just happens on its own... ???)
- dry coughing throughout the day
- vomiting due (I think) to all the coughing and dry heaving
- this only happens when I'm alone, whether it's in my car, in my house, in the shower ... wherever (not only at my house, but wherever I am that I'm alone). When I am on the phone or other people are around I never do it.

My diet hasn't changed in years. I am not pregnant. I am not taking any medications. I do not drink soda, the only caffeine I drink is iced tea maybe twice a week.

If anyone can offer insight I would greatly appreciate it. I don't want the vomiting to affect my throat or my teeth.

One more thing, I don't have insurance (full time broke student =/ ) so I can't really afford to see a doctor. Any OTC remedy suggestions would be super!
