Question: Can Hepatitis A spread by Oral Sex
|ababrm - Mon Sep 22, 2008 4:42 am||
I (male) have almost recovered from Hepatitis A. Is it possible that my wife becomes infected due to oral sex?
Sorry that I have to ask a rather embarrassing question.
|Debbie Miller, RN - Tue Sep 30, 2008 12:18 pm||
Yes, this is possible because hepatitis A is spread by the fecal/oral route. Oral sex increases the likelihood of such exposure.
