Question: sharp stomach pains

I have been having sharp pains located in my stomach. it starts at my breast bone and works its way down.. the pain is really sharp and the only way to ease the hurting is usually by bending over.. it has been this way for 3 days however it seems not to bother me much when i am laying down. Ihave had a slight fever, feeling nausated, and the feeling of wanting to throw up. I don't have gas or anything so im not sure what it could be ..could somone help[/b]

On which side are you experiencing the abdominal pain? For example, right side upper abdominal pain may indicate gallbladder dysfunction. Mid epigastric abdominal pain may indicate GERD, hiatel hernia, etc.
