Question: clindesse

 daley464 - Sun Sep 23, 2007 8:16 am

iam 21 and i recently took clindesse 2% vaginal cream and precription that was provided by my doctor.
i now have white discharge and irritation..is this a yeast infection cause by the cream?

User avatar This is a common side effect of the medication, so while I can't say for certain, it may just be the normal discharge. If you notice itching, pain or smell, you could have a yeast infection. Any time you use antibiotics for a bacterial infection you risk developing a yeast overgrowth but usually there are more symptoms and they are uncomfortable.
