Question: irregular period

 candy86 - Mon Nov 12, 2007 11:35 pm

my periods have always been heavy but have come regularly on schedule. however my last period started just 10 days after the period before it ended. what could the problem be?

User avatar Almost all women experience period irregularly at times. Usually it is nothing to worry about. Hormones are constantly fluctuating and sometimes they just don't follow the expected pattern. In most cases, expecting clockwork periods is the problem - we should expect some variation, especially if you are not on hormonal birth control.

Best wishes
