Question: Rh compatibility

 wcjordan - Tue Jan 04, 2005 5:12 pm

My wife and I are pregnant by invitro with donor eggs. I am A+ , my wife is B+, and the donor is B-. IS there a potential Rh compatibility problem?

User avatar Hi wcjordan,
Rh compatability or incompatability is not usually dangerous during your first pregnancy because the immune response is not that strong. However, the response will get stronger with repeated pregnancies. However, be sure to discuss this with your physician to alleviate any concerns.
