Question: Pelvic Congestion Syndrone

I am looking for a doctor who believes in this Syndrone. I have been told I have varicose viens in my groin area but spec. does believe they can cause me so many issues that I have been dealing with in daily life. Please help ruthanne

There are many doctors who understand this syndrome but I don't know how you will find one unless you have a pelvic pain clinic in your area. You may need to call a larger medical center and ask for a referral to a doctor who deals with this issue.

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. I do not have access to a directory of physicians by specialty and area.

This syndrome is chronic dull and aching pain, possibly with episodes of sharp stabbing pain which gets worse with standing, exercising, walking, sitting, menstruating and many other times.

I assume you have ruled out some other conditions such as endometriosis or cystic ovaries. No matter what the cause of your pain, you should be able to get help and relief.
