Question: Which of my due dates are more precise?/How far along am I)?

 ebisanti - Thu May 21, 2009 8:47 am

I have a May 30, 2009 due date according to my last menstrual cycle and a June 20 due date according to sonograms taken during my 2nd trimester (January 27 and March 17, 2009). Last year, I delivered my 2nd child on March 22, 2008, only had two mentruations that were 36 days apart (July 18-21 and August 22-27), and was breastfeeding when I got pregnant with our 3rd child.

Would you kindly inform me as to which due date is more accurate and why and also give me an approximation as to how far along I am? Thanks you.

User avatar Hello,
Usually ultrasound exams are the most accurate for dating of pregnancy so if I were to guess, I would go with that date. Of course accuracy on estimated due date is within two weeks either way.

Best wishes.
