Question: Weird vaginal discharge

 SMB83 - Sun Feb 20, 2005 9:22 pm

I am experiencing pain/burning in and immediately around my vagina as well as a think white fibrous discharge that has no odor. The discharge seems to be sheet-like in consistancy. I recently tested negative for all STD's. I have experience pain for 2 days (noticed it following intercourse) and noticed the discharge today. Could this be a reaction from nonoxynol-9 spermicide and should I go get it checked or wait to see if it clears up on its own?

User avatar Hi SMB83,
Your description of symptoms sounds as though you may have a sensitivity to the spermicide. If symptoms do not subside in a few days contact your physician.
Sincerely,
Rntdj
