I'm wondering if I should be concerned about having "dropped" in my 31st week of pregnancy. This is my sixth child and I thought I wouldn't drop until labor had begun.

this being your sixth child you should know every pregnancy is different! babies drop into the birth canal to prepare for birth. i remember when my son dropped and i got sharp pains in my pelvic area or when he would push down and i could feel it in my hips. it just means that he or she is ready and awaiting to be born. if your baby didn't drop before hand then it might be a pretty long labor! your other children dropped i am sure you just didn't notice it!
