Question: endometrial ablation/birth control
|fp1523 - Sun Jul 10, 2005 2:34 am||
I have 2 questions. How safe is endometrial ablation via NovaSure? Is there an alternative to tubal ligation that does not have the hormonal side effects?

The NovaSuresystem is safe. I had the Roller Ball method over a year ago, that was safe too.
You should look at this website: http://home.att.net/~endometrial_ablation/index.html I't's all about Endometrial Ablation (EA). You will find it answers most of the questions you may have.
As for the Tubal question: I had a Tubal the same time as my EA, I have had no hormonal changes due to the fact I had surgery. So I don't suspect you will either.
