Question: Birth Control & Drug interaction/ pregnancy result?

 fearless74 - Sat Sep 10, 2005 3:07 pm

I'm taking Ortho-Tricyclen for 2 years now. I have heard some anti-biotics will cause the pill not to be so effective. I also take Naproxen for an injury, will that cause my pill not to be as effective? Should I use another form of birth control. Please help. thanks.

User avatar Hi fearless74,
To my knowledge, the effectiveness of birth control pills are not altered in any way by the medication Naproxyn.
Sincerely,
Rntdj
