Question: Hysterectomy but wanting a baby, alternatives?

 arcadia - Mon Oct 31, 2005 11:06 am

I have had a hysterectomy but I still have my ovaries, is there an alternative for people like me who still have their ovaries but just cant carry the baby? I finally have a good relationship and we would really like to have a child of our own. Any information is greatly appreciated.

User avatar Hi arcadia,
A couple of examples of options a surrogate and adoption. These of course aren't meant to imply that these are the only two but it is certainly a worthwhile consideration.
