Health Tip: Getting Enough Magnesium

(HealthDay News) -- Magnesium is a mineral that is important for regular bodily function, says the Office of Dietary Supplements. Magnesium is commonly found in various plant-based and animal-based foods.

Foods that are high in magnesium include:

  • Almonds, cashews and peanuts.
  • Spinach and other leafy vegetables.
  • Soymilk.
  • Black beans and edamame.
  • Peanut butter.
  • Bread.
  • Avocado.
  • Potato.
  • Rice.
