Multi-infarct dementia overview

Multi-infarct dementia is a dementia that results from successive strokes.

Risk factors include hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia.

Manifestations include episodes of focal neurological worsening, less commonly progressive amnesia and dementia.
