Question: weird spots on chest

 lazpunk - Sat Oct 20, 2007 11:43 pm

I am a 21 year old male. For a couple months now, i've had these weird spots on my chest. Most of them are round. Except there's one bigger one up above my nipple thats just oddly shaped. That's the first one I got. They all seem to be in the general area of the left side of my chest. around the nipple area. They are a tan color. From what I can feel, they're not raised at all. And they don't itch at all. So if i didn't see them, I wouldn't know they were there. Somebody told me that it was a ringworm, but I didn't think they would last that lond. And it doesn't itch. I'm just started to put Lamisil on it. So if anybody can help me find out what it is, I'd greatly appreciate it.

User avatar It definitely could be a fungal infection so treating it with antifungal cream would be a good move. If it doesn't clear up within four weeks on this medication you should see a doctor to find out what else it might be.

Good luck.
