Question: EEG

 susieQ1 - Wed Nov 14, 2007 6:04 pm

Does an EEG have to be done with the patient laying down flat or could they be slightly sitting up? Thanks.

User avatar I believe this can be performed using a recliner type chair instead of a flat surface so that would mean that it does not have to be done lying flat. The facility may not accommodate alternatives though, so you should check.

Good luck.
