Question: meningitits blood test

I was wondering if a normal blood test rules out meningitis. if they take a sample of your blood and everything is normal you wouldnt have meningitis right?

Meningitis is usually confirmed from the laboratory examination of the cerebrospinal fluid and not by means of a blood test.
