Question: warmth under armpit

 lefty41st - Wed Jan 25, 2006 9:41 pm

my mother complains all the time that she has pain and warmth under her armpits, i want to know what is causing it and what to do about it

User avatar Hello,

It would be hard to evaluate both these symptoms over the internet. When considering breast cancer it is a lump in the armpit that is more concerning. Her symptoms could be due to some inflammation in that region.

Your mother would benefit from a clinical examination by a trained physician.

Best regards.
