Question: Edema in the brain

My mom has been diagnosed lately with secondary brain cancer that metastisized from the lungs she is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation but unfortunatly she had edema (water retention) in her brian which effected her leftside especially the left leg which she connot use.

Any sugestions to how to treat the edema

Dear Dr. Fouad

Well her last radio therapy was in may when she started her chemotherapy and and this wednesday is her last chemo.ever since she had her 1st seizure on the 20th of march 2004.
