Question: light spots on chin

my 6 week old is female she has a rash on her checks, chin, and neck. it is causing light spots on her chin and checks. her skin is very dry. i have eczema do you think she could have it to.

User avatar It is possible that she has eczema. It may also be "baby acne". The light spots may be post-inflammatory hypopigmentation that will return to normal color over time.

I would recommend that your daughter be seen by her pediatrician to take a look at the rash. She should have a regular check up coming up soon. You can probably wait until then unless you are concerned.
