Question: adolescent fatigue hairloss weight loss and low white count

I have a 16 year old patient. sudden fatigue, weight loss, white count of 3, normal thyroid studies. no hx. of drug use. What puzzels me is sudden onset of significant hair loss. Is it hormonal, vitamin deficiency or something else? Also negative strep and mono
