i have a 4 year old daughter she was just treated a few weeks ago for a staph infection, she over that now,but today she was bitten by my nieghbors dog,he has had his shots, is she more prone to get another staph infection or what should i do

User avatar Hello,
Skin is a natural barrier against infection but when the skin is broken as with a bite, the staph infection can take hold. I would not expect her to be more susceptible at all from here on out once the bite wound has healed.

Best wishes.
