Someone I know and love is has been taking the following meds for about one year and they are taken several times everyday.
Should I be concerned about this?

It really depends on the clinical setting. One of the few conditions that would justify the use of all these pain medications for so long would be cancer pain. If your friend is at high risk of stroke or coronary disease there have been warnings regarding its safety in this setting.
