Question: Do these perscriptions mix?

I recently got birth control (orth tri-cycleen) and I havent started it yet because I am not suppost to take it until this Sunday due to my menstral cycle but, I also have been precribed Cipro 500mg and it is suppost to be taken for two weeks. So what I am asking is can I start the birth control even though I am taking Cipro? Can the two be taken together?

There is no interaction between the two drugs. Hence, it is safe to take both of them together.
